PlayStationの有料会員サービスであるPlayStation Plusのフリープレイ対象ソフトとして、ユービーアイソフトのPlayStation 4用ソフト「DiRT RALLY 2.0」が4月7日（火）から登場する。
PlayStation Plusは、月々850円（税込）でプレミアムな特典を受けられる加入者限定のサービスで、フリープレイ対象のソフトは配信期間中にダウンロードすれば、配信期間が過ぎても（加入者であれば）回数や時間の制限なく遊べるようになっている。
ただし今回フリープレイとして遊べるのはゲーム本編のみであり、3月24日に追加された「Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack」などの追加ダウンロードコンテンツを遊ぶ場合は別途購入する必要がある。フリープレイ対象期間は5月6日（水）まで。
